At the core of our services is the delivery of customized Webinars. Leading authorities from a wide variety of disciplines deliver presentations that are specifically tailored to the needs and issues small fund complexes face. Trends are important but lack the ability to be turned into action at the small funds level. That's why our experts develop presentations that fit the scale of small fund companies and include specific recommendations that your firms can evaluate and execute.
Network Conference Calls
SFN conference calls are among the best opportunities to learn and gain valuable information to help operate your business because they bring together executives in specific practice areas with similar concerns and responsibilities The calls are organized around a central issue and are hosted by your peers, SFN members. Calls are recorded and archived for future reference and access.
Member Directory
In addition to the Member Directory, SFN also maintains a Provider Directory with firms that serve the small mutual fund companies in crucial areas of operational services, including, but not limited to fund administration, accounting, transfer agency services, compliance, distribution and custody, trusts services and board operations.
Open Topic Forums
An interactive online roundtable allows fund executives to discuss critical topics to small funds. These Forums feature expert panelists to share industry perspectives and trends with small fund executives.
Post Content
Only members can post content at the SFN website. Material submissions must meet editorial standards which focus on news about the management company or its fund offerings, milestones and rankings, investor education and investment commentary.
Research Summaries and White Papers
From time to time SFN will post information in password-protected areas from leading consultants and SFN providers on important topics like regulatory analysis or distribution trends. Members can also request information and SFN will attempt to source the information. In some cases coop reports can be obtained for members who would like to share costs for custom reports.
Press Release Distribution
Members can participate in co-op submissions of releases for quarterly updates and "news of note" for distribution to major public and industry outlets.
Private Consultant Conference Call
We will organize these events at the request of members. SFN has connections with leading consultants in the industry and having a private call with experts is an excellent opportunity to get your questions answered.
Face-to-Face Meetings
We will organize these events at the request of members. These meetings will bring peers together for more in-depth discussions and sharing, designed along critical business practice areas. Costs for these events will be shared by the attendees.
Calendar of Events
Each year SFN's calendar will offer up to a maximum of nine events. The events vary from webinars, conference calls, and open topic forums to white paper presentations. SFN events are determined by issues brought forth by members to address areas they find most important to their business operations.
